Who We Are

Molly Miller

Head Trainer

Molly was born and raised in Cincinnati, Oh. After graduating from Ohio University with her bachelors in Communications and two minors in Marketing and Social Media. She started her career in the Marketing and Social Media industry.

After graduating college, she adopted a Red Heeler mix named Bear. Bear sparked her interest and passion in dog training which encouraged her to change career paths.

After realizing that she wasn't fulfilled in her career, she started looking into work that centered around dogs. This led her to Columbus, Oh.

She and her dog Dex attended and graduated the six-week program at National K9's School for Dog Trainers. Her interests include puppy development, basic obedience, agility, flyball, Fastcat, and reactivity.

While Bear is unfortunately no longer with us, Molly and her Heelers, Dex and Savage, currently reside in Powell, OH with her husband, Mark.

Dex

OG Demo Dog

Dex is Molly's personal dog and Red Hot Heelers demonstration dog. Dex is a 2.5 year old Red Heeler. Dex attended National K9's School for Dog Trainers with Molly and has been trained in many skills. Dex's education includes on leash obedience, off leash obedience, service dog task trained, scent work trailing, and self protection training.

Dex use to have severe dog reactivity. He would lunge, bark, and pull at the sight of another dog. After an extensive amount of training, daily persistence, consults with other trainers, and attending National K9, he has overcome his reactivity. He is an amazing example that hard work and consistent training pays off.

Dex is used as an example in lessons, group classes, and is a helper dog in residencies. You'll see lots of him once you start training!

Savage

Demo Dog

Savage is Molly's personal dog and Red Hot Heelers demonstration dog in training. Savage is a 1 year old old Blue Heeler. Savage has fit in really nicely with his role as demo dog.

Although he's got lots to learn, he showcases obedience, works as a dog distraction, and helps in lessons when needed. Savage's interest include snacks, discs, swimming, balls and anything his mom is doing.
